Does anyone know why in almost every camera shot where he's having a conversation he holds his head down with one ear pointed toward the other person, instead of looking straight at them? Is he deaf in one ear?

David Caruso calls it 'acting' they asked him about it in an interview once. The way he is also 'acting' when he puts his hands on his hips. And always wearing those dang sunglasses!

i in my view can't stand David Caruso. i in my view do think of that he's a terrible actor. For the guy that mentioned that it is not his fault that the author's supply him crappy issues to assert, ought to think of regarding the fact that it is not in simple terms the Writers, administrators , manufacturers, etc., it additionally has to do with how the actor accepts the functionality and performs the character, so a number of it does come from the actor. i like CSI Miami, i began out watching it this 365 days, yet no longer because of the fact of David Caruso. i'm prepared on Jonathan Togo and Adam Rodriguez.

I think it is just acting stuff, trying to be different from the rest of the main leading actors/actresses in all the CSI series, just like George Clooney in ER, always bending down is head while having a conversation.

I think he's TRYING to look cute because he knows there's no way in a zillion years he can come anywhere close to being as hot as Vegas' Grissom.
