Where I live doesn't matter . What matter is what you want and why. Suggest you write down your reasons to live some where and your excuses not to live there.
Balance them out , investigate the states decide which one meets your criterion. Then move.

Been to both. I like Florida better, but Texas has cheaper home values.

Texas:
-Better paychecks than in Florida. I know that for sure.
-Lower cost of living expenses.
-VERY MUCH CHEAPER houses.
-All kind of weather. I don't think Florida is less humid than TX.

I love Texas. Just pick what you want your back yard to be. Mountains, flat lands, hills, beach, city, country ( in the boonies away from everyone) or lake side. There is something for everyone in Texas. Plus, everything IS bigger in Texas.

Hmmm, Jeb Bush or George Bush country? I've rather live in a flooded parish of Louisiana where the Bushes haven't got their hands on.
