You can become a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) and work in a wide variety of settings. You could work in the schools and help children who have speech disorders. You can also work in health care facilities like hospitals, clinics, private practices, retirement homes, rehab centers, etc. You could also be a traveling SLP and get paid very well to go across the country every few months. Or you can do home visits to your clients. If you continue your education, you can become involved with research or become a professor at a university.
Overall, there are a lot of opportunities in this career field. The pay is good and the demand is high. I am currently a student studying to become a SLP and am loving every minute of it.
