because everyone here (or their relatives) immigrated from another country. The US is a melting pot of different societies, races, etc. This is what makes the US great, anyone no matter what their origin can make a good life for themself here. But remember.... there is a difference in immigrants... and ILLEGAL immigrants. A good immigrant follows the laws of the place to where they are immigrating to....otherwise it will eventually end up being no better than the place they left.

Because compared to the rest of the world, the US is a fairly new nation. Everyone's ancestors immigrated here at some point except the Native Americans.

Except for Native Americans, everyone's ancestors came from some other country. For example, my father's grandparents were from Ireland; my mother's parents were from Poland.

becuase unless you are an american indian someone in your lineage came from another country...when columbus came here noone was here but the indians
