I think it is only natural for this to bother you. I agree with you. He should put them up. The pics should be stored in the attic or basement, wherever he stores old stuff. If I were you, I would not feel guilty if you put them in a place where his old stuff is stored, like the basement or attic. I think he should do it though. It is completely inconsiderate of him.
I see that some of the posters believe it is wrong for him to even have pictures of old girlfriends. Many of these same posters have suggested that you destroy the pics. Obviously, these people are not emotionally stable, mature, intelligent adults. I could go on and on as to why. However, I will spare you for now.
I also see that many posters have suggested that your man is hung up on his old girlfriends. I don't know your man, and I guess that is always a possibility, but, more than likely, that is not the case.
Furthermore, what would you hope to accomplish by tearing up his pictures? Can good come out of it? Why is it wrong to have pictures from the past? If, on the off chance he is hung up on an ex, is burning the pics gonna change that?
You have to answer those questions for yourself.
I am a 28 year old man. I have pics in albums and shoe boxes of myself with girls from my past. I do have all the pics hidden in closests and in the basement though. I have quite a few of myself with my first love when I was 14, but I have even more pics of myself with my exwife, including all of the wedding pics. As you can tell, my pics run the table. I am not hung up on any of them.
I am assuming, from your words, that you would be fine with him having them hid away like I do. You are reasonable. For those peeps that think it is wrong for him to have them all together and suggest that you should destroy them...if a girl suggested that I was hung up on the past, I would show her the door; if a girlfriend told me that it was unacceptable for me to have those pics, I would show her the door a bit faster. If she destroyed my pics, even though they wouldnt do anything, I would notify the authorities as I showed her the door.
How ridiculous and immature!

Ok, what the hell? Why keep the pictures besides the bed? Does he jerk off to them when you're not around or something?
I would at least show you some respect and keep them hidden in the attic with the antiques and other forgotten things....where it belongs...
Anyway, you need to let him know how you feel! Make sure to let him know that you will make it worth his while if he does you this favor! Remember, relationships are all about giving a little and getting a little!

You know what I went through that ****, and I took these pictures out of his wallet!!! I was so fu**ing pissed. I cut them up and threw them away and he had new ones in there.. You need to be PERFECTLY clear or this will keep goingon. If he doesn't resect your feelings about exes then he doesn't respect your feeling period! You are supposed to be the only thing in his life right now he doesn't need to reminisce of past girlfriends. and he doesn't need to keep those on the nightstand put them in a memoryalbum or something ifhe wants to keep them.

I don't agree with him having the pictures beside the bed, but I do understand him having the pictures. I have old pictures of all my friends and ex-boyfriends, but they are put away in a closet. My husband still has his old pictures in the closet as well. I would let him know that it still bothers you and if he could at least put them away so you didn't have to be constantly thinking about it. Tell him you understand they are memories. You just know they aren't your memories so put them away. Good luck to you.

He misses her and he wants her back. My guilt wouldn't care anything about where I hid the pictures at. I couldn't let her pics set on the nightstand watching us f **k!!!

Sounds like your man is immature and needs to hold on to past relationships like they are trophies. Before you become another picture in the photo album I'd get out before the flash goes off. Bye Bye.

Burn them. If he gets upset, you should suspect that he's still hung up on her.....It shouldn't bother him, he should respect you and your feelings. It's wrong for him to have pics In an album, BESIDE the bed...Good Luck!

For whatever reason he's not letting go of what they had. By the bed are you serious? If he kept them in a box in the closet it would definitely be better for you peace of mind.

He needs to let go of the past. Ask why is he keeping them for. There must be something about the past that he doesn't want to let go of. The past needs to be let go of before you can continue toward the future. One door closes before the other one can be open. Get it.
