Get the divorce and get on with you life. Obviously things weren't working out between the two of you, so buy new furniture and get out there and find someone new.
But by all means don't fret, don't get too depressed, it's a traumatic experience, but one which has happened to a lot of men before you and will be a lot after - your not the only one. Start a new life, and may I wish you all the luck in the world in your new life.

You actually took a vacation without her? Some marriage you had. Doesn't sound like you had a good relationship. Guess you messed up somewhere. Sorry. Get a lawyer. Half of what she took from the house belongs to you. The lawyer can get it back for you. (By the way, if you own the house, half of it's value is hers).

Sorry I am laughing so hard first from the question and second from the answers. I am going through a messy divorce and man I wish he had done this to me! At least this way you dont have to spend your time going through all the stuff and deciding what to keep, give to the ex, burn etc.

Go online, get a lawyer, decide what your really want (visitation with the kids, dog, stuff) and good luck!

Are you joking ? Because if you not, that REALLY sucks. And there's nothing you can do, she obviously made up her mind and so extremely that no one will be able to change it. She has free will. You will just need to get a good lawyer, he can probably get you back 1/2 of the furniture, visitation with your kids and I guess if you own your home, it will be sold. GET A LAWYER.

Well since you vacationed alone, you might as well live alone. Obviously vacationing alone says a lot about you're relationship. It shouldn't be too much of an adjustment. I'll bet you'll miss the kids and the dog, It's too bad it got this far and you didn't have a clue.

Did she take the kids and not tell you where she is or leave a contact number where to reach her? If she did call the police as that is kidnapping in any court of law. If she did leave some way to contact her than call a lawyer and find out your options from there.

That's the reason you were sent on vacation so she could pack up and leave. Is she asking for money for the children if you had any money invested in your belongs. It is according if you live in a community property state, you get half of everything. You can get visitation for children, sorry hope it works out for you.

First of all think about all the possibilities to why she would want to divorce you. Second try to get in touch with her and be nice about it. Thirdly If she wants a divorce give it to her and have shared custody or whatever. Also seek legal help. Good Luck

Sounds like you are having a bad day. 1st thing sign the divorce papers. 2nd get a new dog. 3rd next time you go on vacation take your dog.

Dude! That is rough!

Not as rough as my mother's former neighbor, Vinnie Puleo. Vinnie was a bad kid. So bad, that he came home after a few days' worth of running around to find that his parents had sold the house and moved without him! He was 18, so nothing he could do about it!
