I would suggest you contact Apple, they're trained to troubleshoot problems like this and many others, and should be able to help you out. The phone number should be displayed on Apple.com, I'm pretty sure it's 24 hour.

well if it didn't come with any software look through the onwer manual. Most of the time you can trouble shoot it to find the answer. Otherwise you will have to call the company and they will send you the software or be able to tell you how to fix the problem.

mmm well u can restore factory stes. and then re-fill the ipod with ur music... that's what happened? go to mac.com and find the answer to..

restore your ipod and then do what you did when you first put it on your computer if that doesn'twork then go to the website and see what that says if still no luck shoot it and get a new one

I don't know, I just wanted to let you know that my ipod is working just fine.
Urgh, if I were you though, tomorrow I would take it back to the place you bought it, or contact ipod.
