Would you want to adopt or have a child?

Question

This question is for women only. No men or boys. Just girls and women. No males, just females.

Now for me, I'd want to adopt, but I think I should have a child. I'll think I'll do both. I don't know.

I have had 3 wonderful children and i adopted my 4th and she was the light of my life. they are all very special to me...but I was given 3 children and chose the 4th ...I am the luckiest person in the world. I recommend both if you have the choice.

That's so sweet of you. I feel the same way. I went thru an illness recently, so I'm not sure if I can have kids anymore or not. But if not I would want to adopt a child. And it wouldn't have to be a baby, maybe a 4 or 5 year old. A family nearby just recently adopted 3 children ages 3,5,8. Their family was killed in an accident. No one wanted them. All of the other families wanted to split the children up. But, thankfully, my neighbor wanted to keep them all together. And, the children are fitting in great. My neighbors have their own children who are grown now, but still found it in their heart to give these children a wonderful home. I hope someday I can do the same, for a child that is in need. I would adopt a child because I don't want to go through the pain of being pregnant and there are millions of children in the world that need a home.

like to have my own. I've nver actually thought much about adopting, but it's always an option.

I have a friend that adopted two kids from a very abusive relationship. They need lots of therapy but he and his wife are up to the challenge. I don't know if I could handle that. I'm still young, so I don't know.

I respect your decision to consider adoption- it's a special breed of people that can take tha on.

Both, although with alot of problems I've had in the past, I doubt I'd be able to conceive and/or carry to term. I want to adopt a Cherokee baby. I am part Native American and want to adopt a Native baby.

I have 2 children and I would love 2 more of my own and adopt one but financially its not going to happen so Im happy with what I have =)

I have 2 boys, and I'm happy so far. but if I were a millionaire I'll probably adopt 2 more.

I already have biological children. I would love to adopt a child, but my husband will not consider it.

I think that is a wonderful idea. There are many kids that need a good home. I have thought about it since mine have gotten older. I miss having a baby to hold.
