I was sitting in my apartment, lonely as usual, watching an old Abbot and Costello movie and trying to laugh despite my misery.Earlier I had been watching the Titanic and imagining myself as the heroine being painted in the nude by Leonardo! Although that had given me a little thrill, I found that I was still feeling very low, my thoughts about ending it all were getting stronger. I knew these thoughts were dangerous but I couldn't seem to stop them! They descended upon me, crashing against me like a tidal wave! I imagined myself standing on the edge of a cliff and jumping. I saw myself struggling in the murky waters,knowing all my secrets would be buried in my watery grave.Suddenly, In my fantasy , a deepsea diver came out of nowhere and rescued me, dragging my thrashing body to the shore.

Reading the manuscripts that were recovered, I learned that there was something once called the "Internet" which was destroyed -- even something I discovered a brief mention in historical records, something called "Yahoo Answers" -- all obliterated. I gathered that it had something to do with people asking and answering questions over the computer -- an unbelievable thought! The banning of Yahoo Answers was just the crest of the tidal wave, everything that allowed people to communicate freely was deemed subversive and disallowed. So we of this spacecraft set out to find a new world -- one where we could express ourselves and live in freedom and harmony.
