Actually, most people want to have children, but not for that ridiculously self-centered reason. How about to share a life with and to raise into a life and style better than your own. To leave someone to help make this world a better place. Let's face it, the world population is always growing, not ebbing! Hopefully for the better, although lately it looks pretty grim.....

It's semi-true. I am a mother of three and honestly do feel a little bit more happy knowing that all the hard work I'm putting in now will affect how my children react when I'm old and unable to care for myself. Thats not why I had children though.

I have 4 children. I love my kids. I had children to love and watch in amazement. I feel that I was lucky enough to have them. I had kids to complete my life. I had kids because I wanted to..no regrets. I dont care if my kids take care of me some day. I just care that my kids grow to become responsable loving adults.

Well, I never had children, But three years ago, I decided to adopt, because I found a child which seemed to me too intelligent and too talented to leave unattended.
Up to this day, every expectation has been surpased. hopefully I'm helping someone to be as fortunate as I was.

For me, I think it will be a great experence seeing my child that I bore and went through pain to bring him/her into this world. It would be an event to remember.

YES!! I was one of them (not so my kids would take care of me). Now I have a child and it's changed me forever. People should never have kids so they can take care of you, they are your kids, you will always take care of them!
