Unfortunately, in the age of sensationalism, it is unlikely that there is a news organization out there that does not report about death, destruction, scandal or corruption. Local TV news is the worst, as all they seem to drudge up is bad news all around.

There's an old adage in the news business, "If it bleeds, it leads." That still holds true today. I think society would be in a much better place if news teams put equal, if not more, focus on the good things people and companies do in their communities.

If such an news outlet exists, I'd love to know about it!

the christian science monitor is a fairly unbiased and facts only type of report...
