Well, I used to like to get baked! But Im going to assume you mean food, so I would have to say yes, because frying not only adds fat, it takes most of the nutritional value out of the food as well.

Not necessarily. You need to read the label. They may have fewer calories than a fried version of the same product or they may have less fat but still have about the same calories and have other things like sugars added.
Websites for products often have label statements and ingredients so you can compare, but even when they don't nearly every manufacturer has an e-mail customer service contact to provide the information you need to compare. Or you can just grab both products in the store and compare the two labels.
"Baked" can still be pretty bad for you, as this could still be a high calorie product full of trans fats. It's really up to consumers to check and see if there's an omprovement or not. Sometimes things will really surprise you. When I worked in cardiology, obne of our obese and diabetic heart patients proudly showed us he was eating the sugar free version of his favorite candy, a chocolate covered pecan and caramel "turtle" type candy bar.
But it happened we'd recently compared the wrappers for the regular and sugar free versions sold in our first floor pharmacy and giftshop. The sugar free version had more calories than the sugar free, more total fat and more saturated fat. So much for just assuming a product is healthier.
The real secret with snack food is portion control, after choosing the best nutritional mix you can find. The label will typically tell you how much is a serving, and it's usually much smaller than we tend to eat at a sitting. For many, those little 100 calorie bags may be your best option.

If you are referring to certain foods such as crackers, chips chicken, fish, etc., the answer is yes because they have less fat.
For foods like pie and cake, the answer is no.
