ETS on my 2000 Grand Am GT?

Do i need to keep this on or off(Trac off?).... Not really understanding what its all about....

It doesnt hurt anything having it on.

ETS .... Enhanced Traction System

The Enhanced Traction System is a traction control system used by General Motors in various cars such as the Grand Am. In some models, the driver has the option to disable this system by pushing a button marked "ETS".

these things are good for winter or when wet, it keeps your wheels from spinning in place
