Just out of pure curiosity. Do you ovulate while taking the pill? It's so hard to tell!

No, not if you are taking combination pills. Part of the way that the pill works is by stopping ovulation. Sometimes break through ovulation does occur but, the other way the pill works is by making your cervical mucus very thick. That way sperm cannot reach the egg and the egg cannot implant or attach to your uterus thus making you pregnant. If you are taking the mini-pill it works only in the second way and you may or may not ovulate.

Yes......You can not stop ovulation....The pill if I remember this exactly right is a hormone that changes the lining of the uterus and eggs will not implant.

It really matters which pill you would be taking. Some stop ovulation and others stop fertilization.
