There is no new me...i am just me progressing forward. I learn, I grow, I adapt. I am a progressively new me...if that makes sense. : )

I dont think you can ever fully leave behind the old you. It still lingers under the surface. I think you can change yourself and condition yourself, but a part of you always remains.
Like the fact I lost some weight and try to eat healthier doesnt make me completely a new person. I still know the old me who wants to eat 12 donuts in one sitting is lurking under the new skin waiting for if I get into an emotional break down to emerge.

I shed my entire skin once every sixs weeks as my fellow snakes do. I did it last time about two weeks so at the moment I am still looking shiney-new.

What Tockers said. I keep the parts of the old me that I like, and add new me.

I like the 'old me' but will always try to add on some new things to make myself broader and more open-minded.
As for your avatar...where is the rest of you? :-)~

You would be better off doing so. Why hold on to the past. It just brings you down and won't help you to grow.
