I got it 2 weeks ago and it is still sore. I am not sure how to get the pain to go away? I massaged it and everything I don't know what else to do. HELP!

A charlie horse isn't usually sore -- it's a spasm that tightens your calf muscle to an extent that your toes are in a funny position. If this is what is happening to you continually, you may have a vitamin deficiency or be dehydrated. You should probably see your GP though. For immediate relief, step on someting very cold (sounds weird, but it works!)

If you just have a soreness in your calf that won't go away, you may have pulled or possibly even tore a muscle. This can take several weeks to heal. Alternate cold and heat, take ibuprofen for the discomfort, and try not to exert that leg too much (walking is fine -- just no weight lifting, etc.)

If your muscle is still no better in a week or so, you may want to contact your doctor -- though there's not much that can be done except for physical therapy.

Try some muscle rub, a hot bath and eat some bananas. The Bananas will add potasium back to your system. Also drink plenty of fluids as Charley Horses and cramps are known to be caused by dehydration.

Often a Charlie-horse is caused by muscle strain and warm bathes will help mend the strain...most of the salves and creams will make you feel good but do little. If you frequently have this problem, increase your calcium intake but another suggestion is by drinking tonic water (it contains quinine) on a regular basis. We often prescribe quinine to elderly patients to prevent muscle spasms.

i had a charlie horse for a while. i just stretched it out every day and it went away pretty quickly. if it doesnt go away for a while you should relax it and ice it just in case you did pull something.
