i agree with a post down below....the plan SHOULD be to let the Kurds have there bit, majority Sunni region theirs etc....The problem is this cannot come about without a lot of violence (nothing new you say). The plan for the government and bureaucracy that has been established at this point is to go for the terrorists,insurgents, whatever and eliminate them or the people currently in government will probably be seperated from their heads in that quaint iraqui way. The plan for the US will probably be the same...pray, wear your bulletproof vests and hope you're home on leave for Christmas. If the Iraqui government can prevail, Iraq has a great future, if not..it's too awful to think about.

I just returned from Iraq with the IRC, there is no civil war. Don't believe the crap you read in the media.
Yes, I was scared. No, I would never bring my family there. But then again I left NYC when my sister got killed during the 70's. Were the racial killings there any different than the racial killings going on today in Iraq?
The plan could be we give part of the country to the Kurds, part to the Shites, etc. But then I wouldn't have liked it if they moved my family into New England and made that our black country.
I am sorry that so many people have answered you question with crap.

The plan now I guess is to expend all of our poor soldiers untill we finally realize that Islam will never die by their own Jihad, We will keep fighting untill we lose too much, then they will have to defend themselves and it will just go back to the same old way that it once was.
I believe that the only way to stop this is to nuke Mecca. It would kill civilians, but it is the same as the nukes on Japan, it will in the long run save more lives as they no longer have a holy place to bow down to.
Not something that I take lightly before you report me, but think about it.
