My parents were married for almost 40 years, and then my Dad died. That was over a decade ago.

My Mom has not remarried.

They had some very rough times, but stayed together.

My parents divorced when I was 8 (20 years ago). My father was abusive and had many problems so I was not upset about the breakup. It still doesn't bother me to this day.

My parents too were never married to begin with. My mother never married and raised me and my sister alone. I used to miss having a father figure while I was growing up. But now I don't feel that anymore. I think I got used to it, finally.

My parents were not married. My father died in WW2 before he returned to get married.
Meanwhile I was born, had to live without a dad. Often wondered how things might have turned out had Dad returned. Did I ever regret it - - - I don't think so

My parents were never married to begin with, but my mom is married to my sisters father and my dad just never got married. So technically one of my parents is married.

my parents are married, but my dad works a long ways a way and until i graduate, he goes back and forth. it's not really the same, but it does get hard not having my dad around much of the time. so thank god that you live with both of your parents.
