All about the up and coming youth with a new spin on politics, government, life, love, entertainment, and even technology. And of course, music, the great equalizer. I'm a Gen X'er and I must say that although we fell short of society's expectations, we broke down barriers and flushed stereotypes down the toilet. We proved that although young and waaaaaay more laid back than the baby boomers, we can still bring about change and do so peacefully. Now it's these kids behind us that I'm more scared of and for. Godspeed to us all!!!

People born after the "baby boomers" generation. Roughly, these were people born from the late 1960s through the end of the 1970s. The Baby Boomers were classified as having over 1 million of them born per year. Generation X is the offspring from the boomers, and often views life a bit differently.

Gen X was the "bridge" generation, between the 70's and "grunge" 90's; the new amplified aimless group ready to show they could outdo the social scene their parents created.

Well....Gen X-ers fell way short, which was expected. How they managed to keep their "grunge" alternative rock sound this long is anybody's guess; thank god the genre is on it's last legs.

We went from Gen X grunge to "flippy-dippy" retro "nerd", as a byproduct of cyberspace (Internet) advancements in the social and office places. I personally can't wait for THAT to die out fast--and pray it doesn't take as long as alternative or "new" music sounds have lasted.
