we need to know what if any thing we need to add to get the bull dog RS1100 and by pass 791 to start my 04 trail blazer. The lights come on but it will not start. I sure would like to get some kind of ansewer to why it wont start to. the trail blazer has a passlock 2 on it the by pass modular did not have a green wire to concet it to what ever it is suppose to go to. So i sure hope some one out there can help us Thank you

If the vehicle turns over while trying to start it It could be the fuel pump,or the ignition module is not firing the spark plugs, This could happen from a blown fuse for the fuel pump, Relay for the fuel pump,Fuse for the ignition, Or if it doesn't turn over and makes a clicking type noise it could be the starter is frozen up. If this is the case sometimes you can have someone Wrap on the starter with a hammer while you try to turn it over. If it starts don't shut off the engine and take it somewhere to be replaced. Or get a mechanic friend to do it at your house so you can turn the engine off. It may or may not start again using the same method if it does turn out to be the starter. Not sure what to tell you about the pass lock. That would be a dealer fix.

the starter. the thing that turns the fly wheel ... if your car has been running ruff and has been hard to start... yup thats it.
