If the terriorist attacks come to the USA you cannot change a president during war time. So Bush may be around for a while.

In the year 2008 in my opinion George Bush will still be president eventhough many people hate him. As a result he started the war, so he has to end the war on which he started. Al Gore, Jebb Bush, Ralph Nedar, Hillary Clinton, McCain, and Pat Buchannan are not that strong to become president in this time of year. Hillary can't be pres. since she is a woman and many of us know that the congress will never allow Mrs. Clinton to become president. Also her husband gave her bad fame when he went with another lady, instead of his wife. So its obvious that George Bush will be president still.

Your list of possible choices is a little incomplete. There are a number of candidates well-known to party insiders who will be gradually revealed to the public as the election approaches. After all, how many people can honestly say they knew much about George W. Bush in 1998?
From the Democratic side, I'd watch out for Mark Warner and Evan Bayh - two very popular governors from traditionally red states (Virginia and Indiana, respectively). Either one would guarantee Democratic victory of his home state, which would be very tempting for the party.
On the Republican side, well, as other posters have mentioned, Rudy Giuliani is a very viable candidate. The Republicans don't have the political capital right now to nominate someone they actually like (such as George Allen or Rick Santorum). So I suspect they'd bite the bullet and nominate Giuliani.
My tentative prediction right now is that we'll see Mark Warner running with Barack Obama as his vice presidential candidate against Rudy Giuliani with George Allen as his vice presidential candidate. In this scenario, I anticipate a narrow victory for Gov. Warner.

Whoever it is will be Republican, as long as touch screen voting machines are still allowed - machines that cannot be verified, that are easily hacked, that have been shown repeatedly to record more votes than there were people voting in the precinct. And the errors are always in the favor of the same party - Republican.
I wish this were just another opinion. Really, I do.
Until those machines are eliminated, we are all disenfranchised.

Every time people are worried about gas prices, we elect an actor. I think the voice of the purple Teletubby is totally in.

Valley!! You are SO right, but I'd go to Canada instead... I'm not sure yet, But I've still got time to do more research. We need to get it out of the Bush Family, if only to give the family a break from the limelight.

Your question is pointless since we don't even know who is running and that includes persons on your list! I suggest you wait until the candidate's confirm they are running before you post silly questions. I will also add who I think will win is not a barometer for winner! so again your question has no point. Ask Sylvia Brown next time she is on Montel maybe she knows! lol
