There's this girl who's a really good friend of mine and she's started avoiding me completely just out of the blue. What does that mean?

It means she does not want to have anything to do with you.
You might try to ask her what happened - did someone tell her something? Is she dating someone who is uncomfortable with her having friends who are guys - due to his insecurity issues?
See if she will give you a clue - if not, then let her go and carry on with your life. If you did something wrong and value the friendship, then try to make it right. Perhaps someone started a rumor that is not true about you and she heard it - you could defend yourself. Just some ideas.

She is just friend so maybe she is busy or maybe she has a bf that you do not know about. If she has bf already, maybe she is spending time with him. Due to the fact you two are just friends, I do not really see why you could not ask her. So why not ask her and see what she says. You really do not have anything to lose.

Obviously something is going on, although it may be completely unrelated to you. If she's a "really good friend", you can simply ask her.

most likely she lover you and if is not that you really did something bad that she really dident like or she really dosent want to be your friend any more.
