This doesn't annoy me the most, but I thought about it recently: the less expensive store brands of various food products tend to contain more transfats than the name brands, so the people who buy these products - because they're poor or because they're frugal - have their risk factor for heart disease increased. Very unfair. I wish we had laws against using these bad fats in our food.
It also annoys me that this country is involved in a war that pretends to be about human rights and religion but is about oil, while if we put solar cells over an area about as large as Massachusetts, we could fulfill most of our power needs in a safe and clean fashion..

What annoys and disgusts me the most is when someone uses a public restroom and just walks out without even bothering to stop and wash their hands. Especially if its a food establishment and an employee does it. Sooooo disgusting!

No, seriously, I think it would have to be the use of the word "axe" instead of "ask."
Example: Let me axe you a question.
I despise calling somewhere like a law office and hearing the receptionist say this. It drives me insane. Much like hearing the word nucular instead of nuclear.
