How can I add extra lines to a candlestick chart in an Excel chart?

I have created a VB 6 project which displays a candlestick chart in an Excel chart. I want to be able to add extra lines to the graph. I'm trying to use the SeriesCollection.Add method but when it redraws the graph it looks like a distorted siamese twin of a candlestick graph and a line graph. It doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

You will have to wait between 3 and 10 days to get into the system in most cases. When I signed up it took 8 days. I wished it was faster, but if you can wait a week or two to start earn life changing money than you will have what it takes to make it in this business.
