They have this new program called cardio tennis. I have seen some of the classes. they look pretty cool. You can check it out at USTA.org.

it is good to have a private tennis coach, but dont forget the fun in tennis. I am 13, about to be 14. Been playing tennis for 9 years, so this should help. I play state tennis and met some nationally ranked players. So this should help you improve ur game.

Footwork - You can use a ladder and run on it. You can also stand right behind the service line at the T and jump forward tight so u r at the add box, then jump to ur previous spot (right behind the service line). After those 2 jumps, jump to the left box then back. So its like ur jumping the corners of a V. This should help ur footwork.

Gorund Strokes - a ball machine will do u alot of good. rallying with a partner is even better. Tennis is a repitition sport so the more hits the merrier.

Net Play - Start hitting volleys against any wall, concrete, wood, etc. After hitting like 30 in a row on each side, move back and do the same. This will help your reaction time and ur strength

Serve and Overhead - Repition is all you need, of course the right form. Serve like at least 3 basket of balls each week. The more u serve, u could see the difference.

Strength - get like 5 lbs weights and jsut hold them and tirn ur wrist left to right. This should help you control ur racquet better.

for serves you can do pushups. I guess they would work for overheads too. you can run ladders to work on footwork. and for the ground strokes you can get one of those rubberband like things that attach to the wall. other than that just play as much as you can
