Who cares? Last I checked, there is no dress code for running a country. Maybe he likes the look, or he feels that he should be comfortable first and foremost.
Our president wears a suit, cardigan and shirt, workshirt and jeans. . . Whatever will appeal to the public more at the moment he is on camera. So I don't think we have the right to judge others on their dress - at least he is making a choice on what he likes, and not what the polls will say about it.
