The only animal that is really going to utilize the wheel is a hamster or a small rodent of some sort. My very first job was at a pet store. All my friends called me Farm Girl because I had a ton of pets and totally everything to go with them. I had the tiniest hamsters called Siberian Dwarf Hamsters. I guess you could say I ended up breeding them,. not on purpose, sucka's just multiplies. I bought the Habitrail and totally rocked it out!!! Apartments for my hamsters...hehehe!

You could turn it into a terrarium too...little lizards?

You have plenty of options for small pets. You could try a mouse or a dwarf hamster. Just remember to keep them stimulated if they are alone. Give them toys and treats. If you'd like more than one, I'd suggest purchasing a set of female mice or dwarf hamsters but ONLY if they are from the same litter. Otherwise, they will fight until death. The mice would probably be more friendly since dwarf hamsters are known for being hyper and skiddish. Take good care of your animal friend(s)!

Mice or gerbils. Rats can grow really big and wouldn't be suitable for a small cage.
