01 Maxima replacing Mass Air Flow - do I need to update the computer?

Nissan says yes. $85. They say it is an updated part since the stock ones had trouble. The new one is in and check engine light is one and the mass airflow code is popping up on my obdII.

Yep, I would say if its a different part than youll have to take it in and reflash.
