i want my cell data in my computer, i have sprint?

Question

my sprint phone model is SANYO MM-8300

i have a plug that connects my phone to my laptop

on the plug is says AX108
4900

it says new software found....i install the thing and that nothing happens....i pull the plug back out and in and keep re intalling it
but nothing !!!

my friend has something else and all she does is connect it and goes to my computer and it comes out

i do the same but nothing??

do i have to download something???

i went to sprintpcs.com looking 4 help but all there is are plans!!

so any help??

what do i download to help me??

oOo and do i new internet on the phone??

cuz i have none in the phone.....???

but i dont think i need it

all i want is my pics

and to be able to download my sonhs from itunes so i can have ringtones
