I bought the cars used, so no user manual.
And I don't want to go to an auto parts store.

Try looking under the hood of the car near the motor. There is usually a sticker that tells you what weight of oil to use for that motor. For example, on my 1997 Ford Taurus SHO ... the sticker says to use 5W/30.

Auto parts stores aren't that scary. You can call the service department at the local dealer. But you will probably need to know what engine you have.

what kind of cars are they I can tell you what type of oil any car takes. But you could also look at your oil cap it should be on there. If not just ask me. Tell me year, make and engine size.
