what API i need to use in order to make a remote desktop sharing application in JAVA?

My current project requirement is to make an application which can support remote desktop sharing facility. How can I do it through JAVA

there is no API for such a complex project... you will need tcp & udp protocols, hooks into the video drivers, and lots of aspirin.

No direct APIs that you can use, although there is an implemented VNC you can sorta play around, in other words you got to implement it yourself with network calls and interprete the data yourself.
