My husband was just told by his doctor that he has low testosterone. Range is from 200-880 - he tested 244. My husband is only 34 yrs old.. he's not happy & neither am I :(

Any feedback on what he should do or why this is even happening.

I've also had that problem. The doctor may want to do a complete physical, but there are gels, patches, and the old reliable shot.

I prefer getting the shots. The gel or patch I would sometimes forget and they both carried a warning about contact by a pregnant woman (possible birth defects). I just stop at the doctors office every two weeks and the nurse gives me a shot in the hip. A vial equivalent to 10 shots costs about $100.

So that's 20 weeks worth of improved mood and energy, and it sure put the lead back in my pencil. Well worth $100 every 5 months or so.

its probably heireditary. Go back to his doctor to see for sure. There are testosterone shots but are usually expensive. And they have to be taken a lot.Vitamins will help his overall health but thats it.There are no herbal meds that are proven effective.Dont give up on life though , he can get some help.He is quite young to get that problem. The doctor may find something else.Ask him for more tests.Testicular cancer may be the reason.
Tell him to check his testicles by rolling one at a time between his two fingers and check for small lumps.
OK good luck and God Bless
