Photoshop help?

Hi i wanted to customize some pictures by adding fun backgrounds and themes to them.... Would i be able to do that with photoshop?? Can someone please link me to a free software that i could download?? I have no idea what to look for on the web... Please help =/

you need only photoshop to customize the pictures, you have it?
If you need a free program, look for gimp, but photoshop is a lot better.
check out some tutorials on how to customize at www.good-tutorials.com
