There are 2pi radians in the unit circle. So 360 degrees =2pi radians.

1/12th of 2pi = pi/6
in other words 1/12th of 360 is 30 degrees.

Or. (pi/6)/(2pi) x 360 = 30.

So go up 30 degrees counter clockwise from the x axis...

pi/6 = 30 degrees

360 degrees = 2 pi radians
180 degrees = pi radians
90 degrees = pi/2 radians
etc

im not sure what you mean by standard position but i do know its in the 1st quadrant. and im pretty sure at 30 degrees.
