Forget that last comment, there IS such a thing as first love. Sex is only part of it, but not the main thing if you're truly in love. I had my first love in 2001, at the age of 26, and lost him the following year. Now, many years later, I still care about him and think of him, even though I've loved others since then. But they just aren't the same. Strange thing is, the guy didn't even deserve me, because he didn't pay much attention to me at the last and ended the relationship simply by disappearing!

I got married five years ago, and although I love my wife very much, she is not my first love. Honestly, I found my first love after I met my wife. It was an awesome experience because I never understood that someone could love me the way my first love does. This love is far greater than any other love. It casts out fear. It never forsakes me. It even sacrificed it's life for me.
If you haven't guessed, my first love is Jesus (My Savior). I wish to return the love to Him that He has given me. I never wish for Him to have to say to me:
4Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.
Revelation 2: 4
I never want to come to a point where I will forsake Him, because He will never forsake me. He loves me more than I can ever ask or imagine. His love surpasses all undersatnding.
Is He your first love? If not, what are you waiting for?

there is no such thing as FIRST LOVE. It simply means FIRST SEXUAL INTERCOURSE.LOVE is something that you need to build on ... like building a home... continue to build on and on until DEATH DO US PART. Marriages broke BECAUSE THERE IS NO TRUE LOVE. A guy can be married but there is no LOVE. When one thinks of his/her first sexual partner as FIRST LOVER, that is fantasy becos why are not you two still holding on NOW ? That was NOT LOVE. NOT FROM HIM/HER eventhough he/she had left you....He did not love you... only you are dreaming of still loving him .. after all both of you are not DOING PROPER B U I L D I NG !

a part of me will always love him, but I did the right thing by not forgiving him and letting us both move on (and I am married now with a kid)
