Are there any 900 mhz routers that are 802.11g compliant?

I have found lots of 900 mhz equipment, particularly interested in Ubiquiti, which states it is 802.11 compliant, but doesn't specify a/b/g

No... By definition, there can't be. Part of the 802.11g specification includes a requirement that the equipment operates in the 2.4GHz band. (Along with phones, toaster ovens, garage door openers, Bluetooth gadgets of all kinds, and all sorts of other stuff)
The only other frequency in use for 802.11 is 5GHz (802.11a and 802.11 n - maybe :-)

Actually, none of the 802.11 variants operate in the 900MHz range... you may have got hold of a long-range router there, but definitely not the same specs...

not that I know of. I believe 802.11abg all operates on the 2.4ghz spectrum

heres a quote from wikipedia:

"Except for 802.11a, which operates at 5 GHz, Wi-Fi uses the spectrum near 2.4 GHz, which is standardized and unlicensed by international agreement, although the exact frequency allocations vary slightly in different parts of the world, as does maximum permitted power. However, channel numbers are standardized by frequency throughout the world, so authorized frequencies can be identified by channel numbers.

The frequencies for 802.11 b/g span 2.400 GHz to 2.487 GHz. Each channel is 22 MHz wide and 5 MHz spacers between the channels are required."

I am no expert but I believe thats a clear no, sorry :(

Impossible that those two things are related, 802.11 by definition works on either 5 GHz radio band or 2.4 GHz.

If 11gamma were to have 900 MHz variant, it would make a lot of cordless phones and cells interfering with it, therefore it would have been a disruptive technology and there's no market for it.

No, there is not. It wouldn't make sense either, because 900MHz is the wave length of older wireless phones.

there aren't any. Most(if not all) wireless routers operate in the 2.4mhz range.
