I have a similar sleep pattern, and sometimes left to my own devices can sleep up to 13 hours! I just found out that my iron is pretty low. That may have something to do with it. You may just be someone who needs a lot of sleep (it varies as much as jean size from person to person!) but it wouldn't hurt to see your doctor in case a vitamin deficiency or thyroid problem is involved.

I can only say what my Dr. told me a couple of years ago. He said lack of sleep has never killed anyone. But if yiou sleep over five-hours per-night you are wasting time. You got to figure this is a Dr. and they are use to no sleep from medical school.
I have depression and I have to make myself get out of bed. Take Saturday, for instance. I worked the entire day at the church and came home and layed down. I did not sleep the night before. When I got up it was about 7:00PM Sunday night. I turned over and went back to sleep. In other words I slept about 36 hours and enjoyed every minute.

no ...you are not sleeping too much...I've always believed that the more sleep you can get in a lifetime, the longer you will live ! AND, I am not talking about a drug-induced sleep...that's different. I only wish I had your problem. I can sleep just fine, it's just that there's so much to do, and kids, etc...... I wish I could sleep later, but, I can't. I would think there is something wrong with someone who stays in bed alot. I think that's one of the signs of depression.

8 hours of sleeping per 24 hours is enough for normal citizen.
Out of this,you read and exercise along with doing the gardening around the house or even chatting with your close friends,that's will decrease the sleepy feeling.Sleeping too much,dreaming too much.

from what i heard if you sleep too much it can be bad for your heart. if you wake up sleeply still after a full nights rest can be a sign too. but everyone is different, and i love sleep myself.

I WOULD SAY THAT IT IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO LIFE THERE FOR YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WORTH GETTING UP EARLIER FOR .SO I SUGGEST YOU DUMP THE VIBRATOR AND GET A REAL BOYFRIEND THAT WILL WAKE YOU UP WITH PLEASANT FEELINGS .
