you shouldnt care what other people think about you. i went through highschool worrying about what people thought about me. then one day i woke up and i was like WHY AM I TRYING TO IMPRESS THESE PEOPLE. the only person that should should really care about you is you. if you're happy with yourself it shouldnt matter what other people think about you. i love myself and i dont care what other people think about me. i am me. i am an idividual in this society and i am happy being me. i would recommend reading the book oh the places you'll go by dr seuss i know it sounds a bit childish by my parents bought me the book for my graduation and whenever me or my boyfriend are feeling down i pull the book out and i realize that i will go far in life and the only person that can bring me down is me. so climb your mountains go down the streets you choose and love yourself. and throw everything everyone else says out the door. you're you. an individual and there will never be another you. nobody else can be you embrace it.

Go placidly amid the noise and the haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible, without surrender,
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even to the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons;
they are vexatious to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain or bitter,
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs,
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals,
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love,
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment,
it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Don't think that way! You're only as bad as you want to feel! If you have low self esteem, do something that you're good at, or think you're good at. You can be terrible at singing, but if that's what makes you feel better, DO IT! Don't let others hold you down-they are not you.
Still not feeling better? Read this. Reading about someone else who feels miserable always makes me feel better, maybe it will work for you!

I extremely have extremely low vanity, however the only guy or woman i'm abusive to is myself. I make myself a doormat for human beings. So i assume somebody may well be abusive in direction of themselves. i'm a very passive guy or woman. oftentimes conversing although, I accept as true with what you mentioned one hundred%

dude no worries, find a niche that YOU really like, even if your friends don't. there you can find people just like yourself and that is where all confidence comes from. if there is no club/sport/whatever then just be yourself and hold your head up high and just think that you are better than the person standing next to you, but don't go over the top with it!!!!
