I have ran a defrag,anitvirus and spyware scan..,I am on a wifi hotspot and have an excellent signal..,I am still fairly new with computers so any help is great.I did delete internet files and cookies as well.Thanks much for help.

maybe you can try to clean the registry by some software like this one

it will help to remove the entry that not needed in registry

try running scan disk thorough scan on your hard drive. or have your computers memory checked usually its because of a busted hard drive or a faulty ram. Also if you have, lets just say, dropped your lap top then I suggest you replace the hard drive.

depending on the age and number of spyware programs removed... have you cleaned up your registry? that will help, but is tricky. I don't know how that's done, I usually get it done by a pro.

we used to have a HP laptop that did the same thing. the hard-drive needed to be replaced. you could have someone check that.
