think long and hard about what you want for your tattoo and consider it being there for the rest of your life. chances are you're not going to get a quote from random people online that will mean enough to you to verify getting it tattooed on your wrist. in my own choice to get a tattoo i worked for a year on the design before finally having it done, just to give you an example of the thought that can go into this sort of thing. but since you did ask, and i have a few quotes, i'll give you a few to try out.
"To thine own self be true..." (and it must follow like the night the day, thow canst not be false to any man) Shakespeare
"The purest and most thoughtful of minds are those which love color best."

A tattoo on your lower back??? You might want to rethink the whole lower back thing. Ever seen wedding crashers? Tattoo on the lower back, might as well be a bulls-eye. Panther and dragon are kind of on over kill. Its been done so much. What about a peguin? They're cute. As for a quote, think of a movie or something you really like for a quote. I would get Panic! b/c that's my favorite band but that's me. Plus band's don't last forever unless you're Areosmith.

You should get a tattoo that is meaningful or important to you. Not what you think other people would consider "pretty." As for the price quote, artists generally charge about $100 an hour, with the bare minimum charge starting at $50 (in CA).

Depending on your age and your career choice you may want to reconsider about the one on your wrist. If you really want tattoos I would advise you to get them in areas that are easily covered in all weather. I have 2 so far 1 on my shoulder and 1 on my right thigh. I do plan on getting more but need to be careful due to career path. Just something to think about. As far as what to get that is a decision that needs to be made only by you. After all you are the one that has to live with them.

Get something that makes you happy, something that visually grabs YOU, dont take words from anyone
And as far as career's go, dont think tattoos are a burden.
Im a financial analyst at a prestigious investment firm and months away from earning my MBA. My lower half of my back is completely covered, both sides of my ribs, and I have a half of sleeve on my right arm..........You dont see me working at McDonalds or any lower level positions. So no matter what people say, you can achieve what you want.

If you get any tatt that can be seen be sure you know and be ready for any employers not to hire you because of it. I don't know what type of work but most places frown on visible tattoo's some don't so be sure you want one there on your wrist.
I feel any tatt is really up to you and expresses how you feel who you are your body you have to have it on ya for the rest of your life so my best bet is do a search for tatto ideas here on the web there are many websites.
I have many on myself and all mine are about me and what I like and my passions...
Have fun and Good luck!

Pleeeez. Do something cute and sweet. Nothing regretable. Think about what you would think to be respectable to see on your grandma now. Tatoos are great but put alot of thought into it. My opinions don't matter really. I'm just talking from experience. I've got a butterfly and a rose on my left shoulder. I know it's safe but...it's sexy as hell. Make good choices, K?K.

a tattoo on the inside of your wrist....sounds cool. Ive actually been considering getting one there to cover up scarring (long story). Anyway, I decided on getting my horoscope in kanji, since its aquarius, it looks like this:

I have several tattoos (4 to be exact) and I dont consider them tacky. Anyway, just be creative!!!

Ok, I have one on the outside of wrist where my watch band sits. It is my new mantra and it says "don't panic" I'm serious, it was inspired by the Hitchikers guide To the Galaxy.
Do it. Make it meaningful. Most of all... don't panic.

If you have to ask some strangers what tattoo you should get then you are not ready to get a tattoo. I could ramble off a ton of quotes but they very well could mean nothing to you.... would you still get them? If you are looking for a quote... look at some of your favortie songs... your favorite book, movie, etc
