why want the yahoo messenger let me play games agianst the people i am talking to?

a little red x appears were the game is suppose to be they accept but nothing happens and when they invite me i accept and nothing happens

have you downloaded the latest shockwave or flash players? Have you checked for any updates for the messenger itself?? :)=
