www.sgforums.com is the site.

I am interested in having a forum just like that in my own site. If you can, please let me know what software is been used to develop that forum?

The actual forum software is phpBB - Open Source and great. They have customized it quite a bit, but you can tell because they haven't changed the default icons.

You can find the software at http://www.phpbb.com and there are lots of styles and extensions you can also find there.

It's pretty easy to get up and running and will work on pretty much any server environment. It's PHP/ MySQL

Hard to tell, but I would suggest it is based on an open CMS with integrated forum, like Xoops (www.xoops.com).

Good luck.

if your looking to make a forum, try dowloading php fusion or simple machine forums. Just do a search for them and you will find them.

in terms of community help and extensibilty (mods and hacks), there merely is not greater appropriate talk board than phpBB. I share the previous sentiment that vBulletin is an excellent product to phpBB, yet in view which you insist on unfastened, phpBB makes the main experience.
