and please don't say a sphere!

*sigh*
okay, mathmatically what is inside the sphere?
it is filled with an infinite measurement right? if you drew a line inside like a radius it would have an infinite number of points on that line. (between 1 and 2 is 1.9999999...) so turn that sphere inside out and now all those infinite number of lines are facing outwards.

are you still thinking in spheres?

A sphere is simply a set of points at a given distance from a single point, the center. It has no inside and no outside. For each point, there is no point 'outside' of it (farther from the center) or 'inside' of it (closer to the center).

The points enclosed by a sphere could be said to form a spherical solid, but the boundary condition gets confusing.

Well I hate to say this, but a sphere doesn't look like anything different when you turn it inside out. Unless it is a different color on the inside, or unless there are bugs inside it.

Thats kinda trippy to think about but it has a pretty basic answer.

It would still be just a sphere.

draw a sphere, then imagine the inside, then imagine the inside as the outside. same thing right?
