Well...duh. Stop and think. Astrologers have been around for thousands of years...but we only discovered the last 4 planets in the last century (or something like that). That should have been your first clue.

There had been more than 12 horoscopes, and the 9 planets (before) or the 8 planets (now) don't really make any differences, because it is just a kind a statistic (at leasat for me)about what a person is like if they have that kind of horoscope, or the horoscope of the planet when they were born, it don't really mean the whole personality of the person, and there are still many kinds of psychological tests, and so on...

So, its not about fake or not, its just about you believe it or not.

They aren't. If you study it seriously.
Pluto will always be there. Astronomers might think otherwise but not to worry.
Pluto will always be taken into account. Just have to ask people who have been deeply touched by Pluto transits......and they will tell you otherwise.

Study it my friend. And it does not take a couple of silly books......takes years and much practice and you never ever get to know it all. It is an art, a science ( you have to have some rigour !! believe me) and basically a subject wich is much maligned and misunderstoodUnfortunately all the good authors seem not to be published in North America.

OH ! Pluto is still there , don't worry. For seasoned astrologers you can sniff it out before doing the charts......and nobody is surprised......! When your instinct proves true even before 20/20 hindsight.....got to rely on it.

Astrologers have been paying close attention to the International Astronomical Union's (IAU) redefinition of the word "planet." Pluto has been demoted, and is now considered a "dwarf planet," along with Ceres and 2003 UB313. For thousands of years, membership in the planet club was limited by the orbit of Saturn. The growing power of telescopes changed that with the discovery of Uranus in the late 18th century, Neptune in the 19th, and Pluto in the 20th. Each new planet was eventually added to the birth charts cast by astrologers. It took time, of course, to observe their effects before integrating them into modern western astrology. Most eastern systems -- Indian Vedic astrology most prominently -- have stuck with ancient tradition and exclude Uranus, Neptune and Pluto from their calculations. Still, Vedic astrology remains a vibrant tool for analyzing character, compatibility and cycle

Astronomy says theres only 8 planets now (9 planets before)
Astrology sees 10 planets currently and it probly wont change.

the two non planets seen as "planets" in astrology are the sun and the moon (Leo and Cancer respectfully)

The removal of pluto from "planethood" is just a title change, pluto is still there and has its effects. just like the moon and countless asteroids Astrologers track in natal charts. its removal in astronomer's eyes will not effect the signs nor the houses.

Pluto handles what absolutely has to happen, process, birth, growth, and rebirth are all under his jurisdiction.Hes in charge of the scary stuff, he loves black, hates the spotlight, and always works below the surface. Head of the department of death, decay, destruction, and other unavoidables. He disposes of situations that have gone past the point of no return, that absolutely must go. You can't fire Hades! If anything, by declassifying (dwarfing) a planet that does all its work behind the scenes, or hidden, we've just empowered him on his own terms.
Horoscopes, are as real as the planets we've all seen in the skies.

No, no, no. Never call them fakes. They are just no longer correct in the sense of the word (planet). If you wish you can take a saw or some knives and cut out all references to Pluto. That will cure that teeny little problem. Now what are we going to do with all of that Plutonium? I bet you have not worried about that yet.

Go to the Yahoo! Search and put in Pluto. At the bottom of the page you will find a link for Pluto questions since your question has been asked over and over again since Pluto was demoted.

i asked an astrologer, and he said that just because the scientists have decided that pluto is not a planet, it has no impact on astrologers- they still get the same readings from it as before

Pluto still is very powerful in astrology and will continue to be a major consideration in any horoscope.
