Is there a program that will refresh a website every 5 seconds so that it gets more hits?

Unless its content changes and improves every 5 seconds I don't see why more refreshing gets more hits. A hit represents a viewer clicking on a page or other clickable items. Faster refresh doesn't drive anyone to click faster.
