What's up with lazy people?

Today in history class we had to do a worksheet, it was crazy simple. My bud was sitting right next to me and he just sits back and talks and then looks over at my paper and gets the answers. He plays foot ball and the football coach is the teacher of the class so he won't get in trouble. I didn't want to be a dick and not give him the answers but it makes me feel like he is only my friend so he can slide through classes by cheating off me. What do you think I should do next time?

Try not to focus on his cheating behavior but at the same time try not to let him have such access to your work either. If he begins to ask what's up with that, simply tell him, dude put in your work or tell him hold up and continue to do your work and then quickly turn it in. If he has an attitude either shine him and let him bring up the issue so you can then tell him to how you feel about him sliding by. I would just shine him. IF that is all you are good for then you are not being of service to him nor yourself. He will find another crutch to slide through class. Sad but true.

Dont give him the answers, hate it when people get through class like that. Cover your paper, & tell him to do it himself, he will probably try to make you feel bad, but dont give in. If you do it once he wont try to copy again.

Ignore him. Always walk with friends afterward though. Give him about a week to get used to the idea that you won't give in.

write down the wrong answers and the right ones on another paper then right before you turn your paper in erase the wrong ones and put the right ones down without him noticing. :P
