Absolutely yes, education is very important to prepare you for adult life. You can do anything you want to do if you get the proper education to do it Set your goals and go for it.

I don't think that education is the complete lone factor for having a good adult life. Hopefuly your were taught to get along with other people, that you can respect other peoples beliefs, that you were taught good manners and kept out of trouble as a youth. While education is important, it will not take you very far without common sense.

It's like the book said, "Everything I needed to know I learned in Kindergarten." Apart from learning to read, write, and do some simple arithmetic, I can't say that my higher education prepared me sufficiently for adulthood.

Experience is far more important when it comes to adult life. Especially the life lessons of wise people that you meet. I need to know when to ask for help and know who to ask for help in adult life. Even when things are happening fast.

My education prepared me resonalbly well for my profession, but nothing ca prepare you for life better than learning to be flexible and make good choices!

It helps, however, every day you learn a bit more from your experiences. I would call my education important, and my life experiences a close 2nd.
