Aristotle espoused democracy, but to the question; according to Aristotle political government was a natural phenomena, and man needs government to thrive and attain the good life, it is therefore to his advantage to desire to have a government. A democracy would be the natural form of government because it involves all the people, and fulfills the natural desire of political ambition.

I don't know but I'll answer.

The signifcance is great because, "He's Aristotle". So pretty much every statemant he makes is going to be looked at as deep and intelligent and worth reflecting upon. I mean if he said, "The banana is more yellow than one might think," we would gasp and realize we don't even belong in the same room with this guy.

But to get to the statement. You have to ask yourself, what am I most familiar with when the word "political" comes up? Government. And what does the government do? It exercises power on the citizens it is in charge of. And what happens in politics? People tustle and wrestle and fight to get to the top, an ultimate position of power. That doesn't come from anything outside of a human being's nature. Rather it is a result of the inherent nature of man.

His statement is correct. All animals do not change their attitude and behavior. They behave in the same way in any circumstances. But man behaves differently in different situations. Thus he always plays different roles as per the requirement of self or by the opponent.

The word 'Politics' is defined to represents the quick changing of state as per the environment.

Man cannot live in isolation because of his needs for food shelter and safety. So he has become gregarious. Even in group of animals there is leadership and challenge to leadership.Man being intelligent has to use his influence on other people in the group to accept him as their leader. When leader is their his deputies will also be there. This is house politics evolved
Aristotle understood this hence he called man as political animal.
(there is no dearth of instances when rulers or leaders have been killed to usurp power)

Our social nature, to boot to our stepped forward intelligence, is extremely substantial. that's the source of all our maximum magnificent achievements: shape, IT, technologies, all our mass/team initiatives. None of those are attainable with the aid of persons appearing on my own. they are in user-friendly terms made achievable with the aid of subverting our guy or woman nature to a trouble-free purpose. This dichotomy of our guy or woman and team identity is the source of an incredible type of our issues and confusions, to boot as being our maximum mandatory asset. It defines our nature.
