Clive Owen would be my choice, but to be fair I won't comment on Craig until I've seen the movie.

I think those against Daniel Craig may be very impressed after they see him in the role. When I saw Craig star in Layer Cake, he had a strong presence on the screen and his acting ability is superior to Roger Moore at the very least. I think he's an excellent choice, and I guess the box office will let everyone know if he can really pull it off. I'm betting he can. As for others who could have been chose, I kind of like an actor who really hasn't been in a huge blockbuster movie like James Bond.

Pierce Brosnan's name should be legally changed to James Bond - he was amazing in the role.
I think the guy they have now looks like a James Bond villian more than the main man. I think of all the actors around today - Jude Law would be the best fit. If he worked out and put on a few pounds of muscle :)

I'd say Clive Owen, cause he's HOT and he has the accent and he's a kick *** actor! I'd also say Hugh Jackman would have been good for that role because he looks darn good in a suit and tie and he's HOT and everything else! Plus, they can both pull off any role given to them! I think the newest James Bond is UGLY, plus no one has ever heard of the dude!

It should always be a british actor and I think Clive Owen should've been the James Bond for Casino Royale...although Daniel Craig is gorgeous too.

hmmm.....
Based on accent and appeal alone....I believe Adrian Paul (Duncan MacLeod in Highlander the series) should be the new James Bond 007.
He's got the accent and he's physically fit like Sean Connery and I think the women are attracted to him.
Just an educated guess.

Well i think for that particular role it would be a toss up between Brad Pitt and Steven Seagal.. Hard to choose between the two because both are such fine actors!
