Of the teams you listed, Philly has the worst defense by far. Just look at what the Giants did in the second half and OT. To prove my point here's how the rest compare:
1) New England - has looked decent but not too bad against a fiesty Buffalo and renewed Jets.
2) Buffalo - almost knocked off the mighty Pats and thoroughly shut down Culpepper and friends.
3) Seattle - giving up 16 points in 2 games ain't too shabby even if its the Lions and Cards.
4) Carolina - Did look suspect against the Falcons rushing attack (which is VERY underrated) but shut down the Vikings until a couple blunders gave the game away.
Philly played how they should against a horrid Texans but choked with the game at hand against the Giants, so there my vote for the worst D so far of these 5 teams.

I don't think any of those teams has the "worst D" in the NFL. They all have pretty decent defenses actually.
NOTE: And "USM987", I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, Philly lost the game to NYG but it wasn't the defense itself, if anything it was the play calling. Must we recap? We sacked Manning 8 times, held Barber to 51 yards and all but shut out Shockey. Therefore, how you can base your answer on that game is beyond me.
GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!

Actually, those teams have good defenses...Oakland and Browns have problems with Ds.
Philly: Just check out J. Thomas, its his comeback year...plus with Trooter still on the team, youv'e got to be kidding!
New England: Lost some good players but Seymour and Seau are on the team and should be great.
Buffalo: Larry Tripplet, along with one of the best special teams, I think their going to be great.
Carolina: Dan Morgan kicks Azz!
Seatle: Lofa Tatupu, second pro bowl?

Nah Carolina is a bit banged up and losing Dan Morgan wasn't any good for them...he'll be back and Carolina will be alright. And are you insane for putting Seattle on this list? They just held Arizona's offense to a stand still...I have a hard time thinking you know a damn thing about football right now....Tampa is pretty close to being the worst right now.

Out of those teams, I'd say Buffalo. In the NFL, it's gotta be Green Bay.

What do you mean "worst"defense? Do you really mean"great" cause all of those teams have great defense.
If you really mean great, then I will give it to New England: Vrabel, Bruschi, Harrisonn, Junior Seau, Ted Washington, and so many others I'm too tired to mention.

All of them are great defenses, but I think Buffalo has the weaker of the bunch.
